PDF attachment in case downloading without its preview

Hi, team

My clients request to download PDF attachment in a case without preview window.

In the current situation, when users click PDF attachment in a case, PDF preview window pop up.

However, they do not prefer its pop up and they need its downloading once they click the PDF attachment.

Do you know how to meet their requirement?

@YukiS888  I hope you are using Open URL in window action to download PDF in a new pop up . You can use the same action . Just make sure that Use Page check box is checked and In the Window Name provide value "_self".

Thank you for your reply.

We are using "pyCaseRelatedContent" in cosmos for displaying attachment, so I'm not sure how to add "Open URL in window" in default pega rule...

@YukiS888,

I think you need to customize the Link Control action in pyCaseRelatedContentItem to download the attached file directly by using activity. Please refer the attached file for how to write an activity to download file.
