We have proposed out-of-place update from 7.1.8 to 7.2.x the steps outlined in Pega 7.2 update guide(i.e. database preparation, update script execution and post update configuration changes).

As per customer, Pega support informed them that ML update can be performed by zip import and there should not be a need to run upgrade scripts on the RULES schema. We did not get this approach in the Pega 7.2.1 platform update guide.

Any documentation on same will be really helpful.
