Oracle spatial and graph feature
Hi,
We use Pega 7.4 and there are some log4j libraries on our Oracle servers which we need to remove. They are related to the spatial and graph feature.
So, my question is does Pega 7.4 leverage that Oracle feature? (spatial and graph)

@PatrickC8660 would you be able to provide the names of these libraries? I don't believe Pega uses anything related to those.

Here is what we see on our Oracle Servers: /u001/app/oracle/product/BAT_EE_ Proprietary information hidden/md/jlib/log4j-core-2.9.1.jar
The PCC question your referenced seem to indicate that it is not used, but the Pega version mentioned is 8.2, so I wasn't sure about 7.4.

Pega software can use the Log4j component in two places: the Pega Platform software and Pega's Stream service.
- Log4j is embedded within our Pega Platform product to allow clients to track and record platform activity.
- The Pega Stream service enables the asynchronous flow of data between processes in the Pega Platform. The Stream service is a multi-node component that is based on Apache Kafka.

For Pega 7.4 please see here. It does not sound like the libraries in your location are affected.
