Oracle 12.2 support
Hi, we are currently using 2 Pega versions on our infrastructure. We would like to know if Pega version 7.2.1 and version 7.3.0 support Oracle 12.2 Thank you Kind Regards Michel

Hi Michel,
We have tested Oracle DB 12C with Pega 7.2.1 and Peg 7.3.0, but since the information on Oracle 12C R2 is not present we crossed checked internally and we got a response that it is supported.

When could we expect the update in the document?
in the platform guide (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/platform-support-guide-7x) it still mentions 12c without any information about a release version

As stated in the Platform Support Guide, we support the Oracle 12c database. This covers all the patch releases for that version. The Guide will not be updated.
From the “About this Guide” section of the Guide:
This guide is published in tandem with the release of new versions of the Pega Platform. Between such releases, Pega and our clients continue to deploy and test with new stack component versions and patch levels. As a result, this guide is not intended to be exhaustive or definitive. In general, stack component vendors manage forward and backward compatibility very effectively. This means that most of the time, the Pega Platform will continue to operate correctly when stack components are upgraded to new patch levels or versions.
Pega typically will support deployment on these later versions even if they are not explicitly listed in this guide. Clients are encouraged to upgrade stack components in accord with their IT or business policies, and report any issues via My Support Portal on the Pega Community.
