Operator saved at login

When and where does pyLastSignOn get updated when a user logs in? I am trying to pinpoint where the operator is getting saved when someone logs in.

@ByronM78Pega platform engine logic does save of the Operator record every time user logs in with pyLastSignOn and few other internal properties. Applications will not have control on this save process.
