Openspan StartMethod- Monitor all
Hi,
I have a requirement with two applications A & B.
Application A need to be open individually and Application B should start with a click event from application A, I used monitor all as a start method to Application 'A' and with a click event Application 'B' should be open from application A. PFA error shown
Application A - Monitor all as Start method
Application B - Start on project start - False

Both Applications A & B cannot use monitor all web adapters. One of the adapters has to be set to start. Either applicaiton A will have to be started by OpenSpan and not by the user, or you will have to cancel the click of the link on the page of Application A and then start the web adapter B using the url of the link that was clicked on Application A. Below is link illustrating how to cancel link clicks if you should choose the latter.

Does the application A & B have the same process , iexplore.exe? If yes, then this current setup that you are using will not work.
When you set the adapter for applicaiton A to monitor all, you are essentially telling OpenSpan to inject into every process with that name that launches after the start of Appication A's adapter.
So the adapter for Application B will fail to inject into Application B, because Application B also is iexplore.exe and the adapter for Application A has already injected into Application B.

Yes, i'm using the same process - iexplorer.exe for both.
Is there any way to open application independently and start other application with a button click from it, instead of monitor all.

This seems like a huge limitation when working with a business process that uses multiple web applications. I feel like the documentation on the StartMethod property could be improved a lot, because having the read the below documentation I did not get the impression that only one web application can be set to MonitorAll.
