OpenSpan Driver Service

Hi All,

I've been working on a new solution that involves multiple projects, one of which is named CAH and happens to contain a Web Adapter.

The solution compiles correctly, however when running the automation, I receive the below errors:

I've been working on a new solution that involves multiple projects, one of which is named CAH and happens to contain a Web Adapter.

The solution compiles correctly, however when running the automation, I receive the below errors:

After dismissing the above error messages the bot loads, but refuses to connect to the appropriate web pages.

However, if we manually restart the “OpenSpan Services” service before starting the bot, when we run the bot we receive the below error message (but not the ones above):

And the websites match as expected.

While searching the Pega community for a similar error I found the below which relates closely and states that the Services issue was resolved in runtime version 8.0.1080.0.

I was able to install runtime version 8.0.1100.0 (currently on version 8.0.1076.0) but still suffered the same above error (albeit not the top 2).

I've tried the bot on laptops, desktops and VMs with no luck. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT:

Just to add, this only seems to happen while our Web Adapter is set to StartMethod: MonitorAll, not if it is set to Start.

The DriverEventService error was resolved by removing the CAH adapter reference from another project by using "Manage Imported Types".

The SendIpcMessage and CreateQueue error were resolved by updating the runtime and plugin from version 8.0.1076 to 8.0.2007.

Are you trying to hook into the same IE window with more than one IE adapter? You can't have more than one IE adapter running monitorall.
