Open ID connect in Pega 7.3.1
Hi,
We have a requirement to configure OpenID connect(OIDC authentication by authorization server)
We have option to configure this in Pega 7.4 oor above in authentication service rule using authorization code grant type. But we are in pega 7.3.1 and our client dont have any plan upgrading to Pega 8 in coming months. Can someone please suggest me an approach to achieve OIDC in pega 7.3.`

OIDC is not available with Pega 7.3, it is a new feature in Pega 7.4.
If you wish, you can implement OIDC as a custom authentication in Pega 7.3 but you would be responsible for the entire implementation and maintenance.
It is our recommendation that you upgrade.
As OpenID is not supported in Pega 7.3, adding support for it as a login option would be custom code. As such, it would be outside the realm of Pega GCS.
You could also contact Pega Consulting if no forum users are able to help you with custom code suggestions.
