open external URL in pega and go back to same screen after closing the external page!
Hi Team,
I have used openurlbywinow and was launching the external URL to new tab.
But now they are asking about the possibility to open the external url in pega on click of a button and see the external system and action on it. on close of that page or back button it can route to same pega screen when they hit button.
I tried window name as _self in openurlbywindow in pega 7 button action--> but error message came "This content cannot be displayed in a frame"and attached the msg.
can some body share your idea of achieving this functionality?

Thanks Akshay. I will try using code. Will it make the parent window freeze or available to edit?
And without custom code cant we achive this? I want the behavior as local action! - it freeze the parent window and after working on the modal window , on close return to parent case
