OCR Screen Scraping Pega Robotics

All,

I have an incident where a webpage has 7 drop down buttons all identically named, which I need to select the last one. I am looking to use the screen scraping functionality within the web adaptor?

Isit possible to use screen scraping within webadaptors? If this is the case can someone provide an explanation of how to do this?


Pega Version I am using is 8.0.1103.0

However, OCR is for Windows adapters. Is the issue you are experiencing that you are unable to uniquely match to this control? What are the match rules you have tried for this control?

A few thoughts.

Are the Menu items context items?
http://help.openspan.com/80/Adapters_Interrogation/Adding_Context_Menu_Items.htm

Sometimes menu items are available via web controls: see attached image

Some applications may need an update to the translator to interrogate which would be an SR/Service Request to Pega.

OCR would be a last resort in my opinion.
