Number of Inodes required for Pega Temporary Directory?
Hi,
A client ran out of inodes in the filesystem that has the Pega temporary directory. There are about 500K files in the Pega temporary directory.
What is the required number of inodes for the Pega temporary directory?

Its seems your PassivationData directory is growing. Passivation Daemon drains and purges unused/expired requestors. Can you check when did your Passivation Daemon last ran?
You can also check from SMA --> Requestor Management page, about when did Passivation Daemon last ran.
Passivation daemon run time can be tuned by following prconfig setting:
initialization/passivationinterval
Purpose: Specifies the number of seconds between PassivationDaemon runs.
Possible Values: Any integer value.
Default Value: 60
Can you run the following script from the Pega Temp directory as root, this will give us information which folder has most files:
sudo find . -xdev -type f | cut -d "/" -f 2 | sort | uniq -c | sort -n

The Pega temp directory was set to /apps/temp. There are no other applications using that directory.
At the time of the file system running out of inodes, we found that the number of files in the Pega temp directory is half a million (500K). It is a Linux system, with Pega 7.1.8 running in WAS 8.5.5 and Oracle 11g.
