Temporary files are not getting deleted from Service Export directory
Upload files are not getting deleted from Service Export directory in Prod region. Usually files in the ServiceExport directory are deleted promptly after the associated upload operations on the file completes.
Since the files are in directory contains the special chars,the system is unable to process the product jar during package importing.So we have to delete the files manually from ServiceExport directory and do the deployment.
Any reason of why files are not getting deleted from directory after operation is completes ? How to debug it ?

What option have you selected under Cleanup ( File Operation)?
In your requirement, you should opt for "Delete".
You can find this option under "Error" tab of File Listener rule.

It would be great if you explain about the mechanism of clean up the documents from service export directory that pega follows.

It's affecting Pega deployement as service export directories contains the special chars in file names.

Hi All,
we are also facing same issue in our production environment and we are also not able to import jar file in prod.
could you please let me know what is the permanent solution for this as we have to clear service export directory each and every time.
I have below query as well.
1. How and when file goes to service file directory.
2. on what basis files are getting deleted from service file directory.
