NPE after opening a case
Hello everyone,
We are having an issue with Pega 7.1.7, the user opens a report in a new browser tab, then with the tab open, he goes to his Worklist and open an existing case, when he returns to the report tab and he tries to filter or sort the result, it display a NullPointerException, can you guys tell me what could the the reason for this behaviour?

Can you also run the tracer when you are running the report. There you must get some FAIL message which will help us in further debugging the issue. NPE can happen because it is not able o find some index/parameter value etc.

I think it would be better if you share the PegaRULES error message regarding this use case as this image doesn't help to identify the root cause.

PerformPreProcessing activity has only one step with Java code
flowAction.putString("pyClassName", interestPage.getClassName());
Now if interestPage somehow goes missing from clipBoard null pointer exception follows
Compare tracer for Pass scenario to that of failed scenario and try to figure out if interest page goes missing

InterestPage has a value in both scenarios so I still don't know what it could be, however I noticed that if I refresh the browser tab of the report (F5) it doesn't throw the NPE
