As part of the RDA migration from IE to MS Edge, we are trying to interrogate the controls in MS Edge browser with Pega Robot Studio 19.1.102.

But, we are facing issues while interrogating the controls as the adapter is not able to kill all the Edge processes running in the background while it is getting closed, so, when it is launched the next time, it is not able to hook to the correct Edge process in order to start the interrogation.

We raised this concern with Pegasystems and they said that it could be because of some Group Policy running organization wide for Edge Browser because of which the Edge processes are not getting closed from the bot and require admin privileges to be closed. PFA the screenshot (Refer attached screenshot Admin Privileges.png) of the error which we are getting while trying to kill the Edge processes manually after closing the adapter. We checked with our Admin and Security team, there's no such group policy which could affect the Edge processes to be closed.

There's a setting in Edge 'Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed' which is also disabled. (Refer attached screenshot Edge System Setting.jpg)

Has anyone ever faced such kind of issue with Edge interrogation? If yes, how can it be resolved?
