A new Governance Rule Created is Preventing from Check-in

HI ,

I have created a new Governance rule to prevent Checkin , if Checkin Comment filed does not contain certain word. I enforced the rule . Now when i try to checkin i see it's not allowing me to provide comment, Rather the Message itself shows (Which I have for incase developer do not provide the Comment). Kind of pre checking than post checking the Comment filed .

Any help ?

Hi

Governance rule that is created will be validating rule xml values only. As of now we cannot perform validations on checkin comments.

If you want to perform such validations, along with creating Governance Rule you can customize a flow rule "CheckInModalFlow" and trigger validation after submitting checkin comment.
