Need a way to have a Parameterized Section for Show SmartInfo Action
Hi,
I am using Pega 7.3.1, and configuring tooltip option for an Icon. As part of it, in the Actions tab of the Icon control, I am adding a click event with an action "Show SmartInfo". I want to configure a parameterized section so that I can pass some parameters to it. But, I am not able to pass the parameters as they are not appearing.
Could anyone suggest the approach to use a parameterized section for the SmartInfo display?

I feel like this is probably not supported, but will need an SME or product owner to confirm. Probably has something to do with the intent of this feature: "The SmartInfo feature displays a pop-up window when you hover over specific elements in a report or form. The contents of the pop-up display are determined by a section rule, and are in read-only mode."
Maybe if you let us know what you plan to do with the params if you could pass them, others might have some alternate ideas to achieve your requirement.

For one of our implementations, we are getting the tooltip paragraph rule name from a table dynamically basing on the question that we want to display. We want to make this tooltip configuration reusable by passing the paragraph rule name as parameter to the smartinfo section. SmartInfo section will be the generic section which will take the paragraph rule name as parameter. This will reduce the no. of section rules that should be created for each tooltip to be called in the show smartinfo action. Please let me know if any further information is required.
