Need suggestions on customizing the date range in Pega 7.1.7
We are using 7.1.7 version. we have requirement that customize the date range. Any suggestions would helps.

I have field Date of Birth in our Application, we are using 7.1.7 version. we have given the Dropdown list in Presentation of Date Time control and given the 100 number in the number of years field. it is showing Past 50 years and future 50 years in the Dropdown but usually DOB field means it should show up to current date. my requirement is in the dropdown at least years should not more than current year. Please help on this issue. it is very urgent now.

Assuming you have the similar requirement which was posted in the original thread https://collaborate.pega.com/question/control-pxdatetime-parameterize-number-years, The behaviour with datetime control in 7.1.7 is probably same as reported on 7.1.8. Perhaps you can try adding a custom control or use speciality component https://docs-previous.pega.com/creating-specialty-components-pega-7-platform

I see the requirement you have can be achieved on 7.2.2 by unchecking 'previous' option in presentation tab in cell properties modal dialog.
Please check below screenshot, For 7.1.7 I believe the requirement you have is an enhancement request which can be possible if you update to 7.2.2

yes correct. but in my organisation we are using 7.1.7 Version only. please provide me code to create custom control if possible.that would be most helpful
