Need to set Character encoding of Service File other than options [7.2.2]
I have a requirement to read a file with SJIS encoding, which is not an option of Character encoding at Method tab of Service File rules. Does anybody know how to set Character encoding a a Service File rule other than the options. We need to keep JVM file.encoding=UTF8.

Hello, is your concern that 'character encoding' does not list 'SJIS' character encoding in drop down?
'character encoding' drop down in Service-File is populated from the 'prompt list' of 'pyCharacterEncoding' & this property can be saved to your ruleset.

I've seen a similar instance where hotfix to support Russian encoding was provided.
So you might need to come through an SR for this.
However, you could wait for a couple of days for other community members to analyse this post and reply.

Hi GopiGanapath,
I had also faced this problem. I think adding SJIS in the list only dose not solve this issue. We also need to place in there without java code
Do you have any other idea for this?
