Need to Override Namespace in XML Stream
Hi All,
Generated wizard and created a XML Stream rule with a namespace 'x' and now client provided updated XSD with 'y' namespace. How can we override this namespace.
Tried to run the wizard in new version but still getting old Namespace.
Is there any way to achieve updating the Namespace..

Can you clarify whether the namespace itself has changed or just the prefix ?
If it is just the prefix, then this is not something you should have to worry about - the prefix is (sort-of) a Locally-scoped Label to allow shorter XML to be written - so these two XML files are semantically identical:
<namespace1:root xmlns:namespace1="this_is_really_the_namespace_identifier">
<namespace1:a> whatever </namespace1:a>
</namespace1:root>
<a:root xmlns:a="this_is_really_the_namespace_identifier">
<a:a> whatever </a:a>
</a:root>
In fact: you should not only not have to worry about the prefix changing - you should avoid attaching any meaning to prefix name itself : only what it points to : many parsers will change namespace prefixes during processing.

Thanks for your reply, My issue is not able to change the namespace by running the wizard.
Initially, we ran the wizard and created all the classes, properties, stream rule(with Namespace 'x') etc..
<x:root xmlns:x="this_is_really_the_namespace_identifier">
Now client asking namespace should be 'y'.
Then, we try to run the wizard in new verion by updating XSD with new Namesapce, but still wizard created Stream rule with Namespace 'x'.
<x:root xmlns:x="this_is_really_the_namespace_identifier">
But we want to display the xml as :
<y:root xmlns:y="this_is_really_the_namespace_identifier">
I think you got my issue.
