Need info about upgrade process in Cloud

Hello

One of our client is using Pega Cloud, the application is currently present in Pega 7.1.x. They want to update it to Pega 7.2.2. Can anyone please let me know what is the process for upgrading an application if it is present in Pega cloud? Can we run upgrade scripts on Pega cloud instances? or Pegasystems moves the codebase to upgraded Pega versions themselves?

Thanks Sudharsan, I just want to know in high level whether pega allow us to run any upgrade scripts in Cloud instances? or Pegasystems moves the codebase to upgraded Pega versions themselves?

Hi Sandeep,

Not sure whether your application is running on legacy cloud or Cloud 2.1. I think in cloud 2.1 the database access is restricted. please touchbase with cloud team to get more details.

Hi Dhev,

As understood, this thread is in context to upgrade for application which is already running in Cloud. Our Client's ask is do you also support registration in Pega Upgrade Center for applications which wants to migrate from On-Premise to Cloud.

They actually have multiple applications - few of them need just migrating to cloud, whereas some requires upgrade to Cloud.
