Need credentials to access logs in Personal Edition 7.1.9
Hi
Can someone please tell me what are the credetials for downloading logs in Personal edition..? It prompts for credentials at appserver level (http://localhost:8080)

Hi Nikhil,
I believe personal edition is using tomcat server. So you can directly go to following folder and find all the Rules and Alert logs:
<Tomcat folder> \work\Catalina\localhost\prweb
Please let me know on the further concerns.

look for the tomcat /conf directory, user/password should be in tomcat-users.xml. Also, for Personal edition, all the logs are local to your computer, you can access them directly without downloading...

Thanks. I know that it's there at this location. My objective of the question was to know the tomcat credentials because when I saw my tomcat-users.xml, I saw all the user tags commented.

You can add below lines in your tomcat-users.xml for the diagnostic role.
<role rolename="manager-gui"/>
<role rolename="admin-gui"/>
<role rolename="PegaDiagnosticuser"/>
<user username="admin" password="admin" roles="admin-gui,manager-gui,PegaDiagnosticuser"/>
<user username="pega" password="pega" roles="PegaDiagnosticuser"/>
