Need confirmation on Java version supported by pega 8.7
Hi, Our application is built on pega with below versions
Pega 8.7.4
java-1.8.0-openjdk- Proprietary information hidden.b08-2.el7_9.x86_64
We know Java 8 and 11 is supported by Pega 8.7
But we need a confirmation on patch version of java.
Our servers didn't get rebooted back, once the patch version was updated to java-1.8.0-openjdk- Proprietary information hidden.b06-1.el7_9.x86_64.
Is it because that java patch version is not supported by Pega?
We need this confirmation for raising exception on installing Java patches going ahead.

That shouldn't happen.
One scenario where it could happen is if you are using a hard coded JAVA_HOME path with version #'s. In situations like that, when you upgrade you would need to update all JAVA_HOME settings with the new path for the new jdk version.
If you are using a path with version #'s consider switching to use the alternatives paths, so that java upgrades don't break things.
