Multi select control does not work in Pega Offline Access Mode
Hello All,
We are trying to achieve Offline Capability for our case type. Below is the scenario:
User should be able to create & work on existing cases for a case type. For this we have configured the Access Group and case type to support offline processing.
At the very first step of the case we have a screen-flow, and the 1st screen contains a multi-select list sourced with a data page (List,Read Only, Thread & source-RD).
The values are populated on screen load, and we are able to add values into it.
Post this, once we submit the screen and move on to the 2nd screen (of screen-flow) and again move back to the first screen (by pressing the back button), the app gets hanged.
We tried some trial and error with all the fields from the 1st screen and thus came to know it is the multi-select control which is causing the issue.
Notes: We are using app express downloaded from play store and logging in by entering the URL of our server.
Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Multi select control is not an offline-enabled control. See the list of supported ones in https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/pega-mobile/pega-platform-features-supported-offline-enabled-applications

Hi Radoslaw & Geed,
We have referred the below link which states that multi-select is a supported feature in Pega 8.1.
The control works well for us, the issue is faced when we try to navigate front and back in screen flow.

Multiselect is supported in offline. This seems to be a particular use-case.
Can you kindly share an instance where we can check this use-case ?

You mention that the app hangs when you move back from the 2nd screen to the first. How have you configured the Back button to move back in the flow? Are you using OOTB screenflow and OOTB back functionality to navigate back/forward in the flow? Does the hang occur right after your load 1st screen again or does it happen when you invoke some action on the multiselect control e.g. focus into it? Have your watched the console for any errors when you navigate between screens and come back to the screen 1. Also have you queried the client cache to see if the values from the DP associated with the multiselect are still present or have they been flushed out? Are you OFFLINE during this entire interaction?

Hi All,
After raising SR we came to know that it is the 'Pega Express App' (downloaded from play store) issue. The app has limited functionality support and it was recommended to build our own custom app for iOS and Andriod.
