MSOFileTransferButtons control is not working for Version 7.1.8
I have a requirement where i have to upload a spreadsheet and the read data from it. I am trying to implement this functionality by using MSOFileTransferButtons control.
But it is not working, we are using PRPC Version 7.1.8.
Please let me know whether there is any alternate approach and any other work around for this.

can you tell what issue you are getting and what browser you are trying.
Also share the configuration setting of the button since it requires a activity to run at background to perform.

We are using PRPC v7.1.8, websphere app server and DB2 database connection.
We tried to use this control both in i.e and chrome , but it's not working for any of these browsers.
While clikcing on the button it's not even calling the activity configured for uploading.

I performed a few searches and found an SA which might answer your question. The SA titled "MSOFileTransferButtons control does not work in Chrome" (SA-12659) describes an issue with this control when using Chrome. It you are experiencing the symptoms as described in this SA, the same solution may apply for you. In addition, the following PDN article "Configuring an application to bulk upload data by using an Excel spreadsheet" has some information on how to setup this control.
