Modifying pyPrepareNewEnvelope for DocuSign integration

How to modify pyPrepareNewEnvelope for documents to send to the DocuSign service for signature? By default, it is set-up that all documents that are currently attached to the case are sent to DocuSign. What we want to do is instead of sending the attached documents, we will be getting the documents from Alfresco repository to be sent to DocuSign.
