MISSING vs NON-MISSING
@Otto_Perdeck In the model report attached, what does NON-MISSING indicate? The predictor in question is a Symbolic for generation classes/types (e.g., 5G, 4G).

Accepted Solution
@J R Wells Hi, sorry not having seen this message earlier. The non-missing bin represents all other values. There probably are very many and ADM may have figured out the relevant binning is just between missing values, 5G/3G/1X and everything else. If there are many distinct values in a symbolic predictor these get clubbed together. I've asked the engineering team for confirmation of the exact behavior because I know there have been some subtle changes in labeling between product versions.
Is it true that this field contains many distinct values? The general recommendation is not to have symbolic values with > 200 distinct values, instead see if you can group them together in fewer (but meaningful) categories.
Regards
Otto
