Migrating Pega package server to a new server

Hello,

We are in the process of upgrading the Windows server which hosts Pega Package server to a new server. With this server migration, we want to know what steps we need to follow when we have to move the Pega Package server from existing server to a new server? The server migration is from Windows server 2008 to Windows server 2016.

If there is any migration tool available that we can use to migrate existing meta-data and other artifacts from current Pega Package server to the new server after installing Package and Status servers on the new server, that will be helpful.

Any document that has all those details will be very helpful.

Please note that we have the same Pega Package server across all PEGA environments - DEV, QA and PROD.

Hi,

There is no documentation from pega point of view for package server migration from Windows server 2008 to Windows server 2016. Please check whether your pega version is compatible with windows server 2016 in pega platform support guide.
