Migrating from Oracle to Postgresql
Hello,
We are planning to migrate our PRPC systems from Oracle to Postgresql. I would like to understand what is the best approach for this.
1. Migrate the entire database using Data Migration tools(AWS DMS) from Oracle to Postgresql
2. Install Pega Base Product on Postgresql and then extract the custom code as RAP and install on top of base product
Anyone who did database migrations, can you share your experience?

Hello Abu,
This could be based on your application design. Incase you have your application design as a cake like structure the way how PRPC suggests then you would only RAP them as custom rulesets and import into the new migrated system.

I will go for approach 2 . Install first and then import the Product. This to me is the safe approach.
