Microsoft office section during installation

What openspan does when we select an office version during studio/runtime installation? Does it copy the DLLs from user's workstation in runtime directory or just references it.

What happens when a solution containing Microsoft office connectors are deployed to user's workstation who doesn't have office installed.

If you attempt to use a connector property, method, or event on a machine that does not have the correct version of the connector installed, it will throw an exception.
