Microsoft Office dlls

Hi,

I am trying to understand how Microsoft Office is getting configures in Pega Robotics.'Does Pega Robotics installation copies any files from the existing MS Office to Pega folders while installing pega?'I can see Office 2003,2007....2016 folders are created in Pega installation folder and also Office.dll as well. All these DLLs should be from Pega Robotics installation bundle since dlls are used to communicate with Office.Are there any files copied from Office files to Pega files?

When you wish to use any of the Office connectors in your solutions, you must select the Office version during installation. This will install the appropriate files required to communicate with that version of Office. The files are merely installed in the installation directory of Runtime and/or Studio. It also makes an update to the RuntimeConfig.xml (there's a setting in there specifying the Office version).
