lookuplist activity under @baseclass now requires authentication
OOTB Final activity lookuplist now requires authentication to run, which throws error when somebody attempts to do a look up using an unauthenticated requestor. This activity did not have 'requires authentication' checked until Pega 8.5.4
This becomes a problem for scenarios in SSO authentication, where a lookup could be required. Is this is a defect or done on purpose by Pega?

We have an high volume of these logs but we are not able to understand where this activity is referenced.

The error is due to Changes are made in LookupList activity as requires authentication to run for security reasons.
This change has impact on SSO Users with model operator.
1.For User with SSO configuration to create operators using model operator,during first login operator is created & saved in database and there is a pulse mechanism to invalidate lookuplist cache and in second login, operator is not recreated but retrieved from the database so the issue is not observed here.
2.There won't be any negative impact on functionally with latest change in LookupList activity (“Require authentication to run” checkbox is checked) as we're trying to clear cache even before authentication.
Since it does not cause any functional impact and in the logs its coming as Erro
BUG-640052 is fixed in latest patch release(8.5.4).

@MarijeSchillernOk, so if i understood, an upgrade to platform version 8.5.4 (we are on 8.5.2) will solve the "issue" and we should have no error in the log file anymore, right?

@Vicio.Pi yes that's right. In the unlikely event you do run into issues on 8.5.4 do log a support ticket, but my research shows that the issue was fixed.
