Can any one help me to explain the new security option in Pega mobile 8.5.1 "Login not required". How does it actually works? When I selected this option and generated an app, it is showing authentication error screen.
Please let me know if I am missing something.
Create a new Pega mobile app in 8.5.1.
Upload android certificates into the mobile app configuration.
Select the security option as "Login not required" while saving the mobile app configuration.
Generate the mobile app build and download the apk file.
Run the apk file in any mobile app or bluestacks. Its installing the app but once we click it, it just shows an error message.
Let me know if I am missing something here.

Hi Nizam, can share some more details on what was the problem with the mobile app built with the "no login required" mode?
Was that the multi-tenant environment?
I just have created an app on a clean 8.5.1 Pega system and mobile opens up without any problem. Maybe there is some specific configuration in your system which we haven't tested out and maybe we could improve that in future Pega releases.
And answering your original question - that mode can be used to build the mobile which doesn't require any user login. Users just open the app and operator gets created for them under the hood. The application opens up with the context of the Access Group selected in the General->Role dropdown on the Mobile Channel interface.
