Log size increase/Decrease or method change in version upgrade to PRPC V7.3
Dears,
We are upgrading from PEGA V7.1.7 to V7.3.
Will this upgrade have any effect on the daily log sizes, any features introduced to compress logs etc.
Is there any changes in the default prlogging.xml and rolling mechanism. Any enhancement of remote logging(logfactor5).

Could you tell me if there will be any changes in the Log file sizes. In our current version daily log sizes are of approx 1GB, if we keep all our Logging levels same as we have now, will there be any changes in size of the log files as new types of Logs are introduced.

In prpc 7.3 prlogging.xml file has been replaced with the prlog4j2 file. This file contains the configuration settings for logging.
