Log entry for a column when report definition is run
A report dentition has a number of columns including DateOfBirth, Name, Address etc. When a user runs the report, PegaRules logs needs to have an entry for some chosen columns like DateOfBirth: 'DateOfBirth have been accessed' with the time stamp. In what ways can it be achieved?

If your concern is to see specific columns in Logs,then try using them on UI like on Grid or table and fetch the details from RD and you can view it in logs.

Thank you for your reply. The scenario for the above question is that the reports are accessed via report browser from the manager's portal. And the requirement is to predefine one or more columns and log only predefined columns in the PegaRules logs that the given 'columns were retrieved'.
I also configured a report definition in a table. The table displays the Report Definition Data in the table, the system did not log the columns in PegaRules logs. Are there any additional configuration to predefine the columns for the logs?

When the user runs report from report browser, the column values in the DB do not change and Declare Trigger does not get triggered. Please elaborate if you are suggesting any other considerations.

What you are requesting seems like some kind of audit feature (not necessarily for modifications, but even for retrieval).
I doubt we have a way to do this OOTB currently with report definitions. You may have to write a custom activity to accomplish what you desire.
