Unable to hide a column in report definition

I am unable to hide a column in report definition in PRPC 7.1.6.

'Hide' checkbox which was there in 6.x is not present in 7.x.

I also tried giving field format = "pxHidden", but even that is not working.

 

Report definition rule maintains a flag 'pyHide' for each column, I set that flag by modifying report definition from activity, but even that didn't help. 

Any inputs?

There should be a small gear icon as the last item in each row in the ruleform.  Click it and the hide checkbox should be in the modal that is poped up.  Hide is only available for List reports.

Right, summarzed reports (reports that have summarized columns) do not allow you to hide columns.  That should never have been possible.
