Lock upon calling a section
Hello,
I have a button "Related Module Map" in class "Project" once clicked it is calling a report definition from "Module Map Template" class and inserting a lock into pr_sys_locks. Note that no activity is called when button is pressed, it is simply a call for a section in class "Module Map Template" that reads from a report definition: Can anyone tell me why is the lock being generated? I am not finding the origin of creation.

What it is trying to lock ? Can you please provide a screenshot of your button configuration ?
Also, can you run tracer and see the sequence the events ?

Hello,
It seems that the lock is generated from WorkLock activity. The tracer showed that Param.releaseLockManually= false and hence step 2 is executed and lock is created. Then StepStatusFail= false and the execution jumped to DLS (step 7). Param.workOnly == true so Exit Activity. The lock is not being released since no commit was called. Please find attached a screenshot for the activity and one for the tracer.
Any thoughts?
