local actions in screen flows
how can we add local actions to screen flows in pega 7.1.8? Is there any way to do that?

I think Screenflow does not support local action !
If you have a specific need for local action like scenario ( such as implementing a cancel button etc ) then you can check these posts :

You could define the local action as case wide, or step specific and then it should appear in the actions menu e.g. as shown.
Or you could us a button to lauch the local action. E.g. here I am using the standard add attachments and launching in an overlay:

please try the following steps to get local actions in screen flow...
- add the flow action to screen flow rule as flow wide local action under design tab
- add either link or button (at harness level) where the screen flow is rendered
- add navigation rule (pyWorkActionsReview) as onClick event
