Limit the Number of Threads in Clipboard
whenever user have more than 8 clipboard thread pages(opened more than 8 work objects), The PEGA0018 alert is triggered and it leading to memory issue. So How can we limit the number of threads by using the DSS.

You may use the below DSS setting, which is disabled by default. or configure the same in prconfig.xml .
<env name="alerts/PRThread/count/threshold" value="5" /> (making threads limited to 5).

You can reduce the occurences of alert by the following DSS by changing the value:
<env name="alerts/PRThread/count/threshold" value="5" />
But if you want to limit the number of threads there is no DSS available.

Each thread contains a clipboard and is resource-intensive. Before you add a new thread, make sure that a new thread is required.
If your application generates numerous new threads, the resulting memory demand will hurt performance. Review the design approach to reduce or eliminate threads.

Thanks for the replies,
I have found another solution, by changing the Max Number of documents in the "pyPortalContent" Section, it automatically limits the number of workobjects(threads) from the clipboard of respective portal.
