iText version support in PEGA v 8.4

We are currently investigating to upgrade PEGA version to 8.4 and would like to know the version number support for iText

@KevinZheng_GCS  I have a similar question. I seethe version 2.1.7 in the pr_engineclasses for the 8.4 application. we are planning to upgrade the itext version to more higher version. could you please confirm what method should be followed for attaining that? which higher version would be compatible.? also if we import the higher version itext.jar will we be able to revert it back by any means ?
