Is it possible to use meta characters in obj-browse

Is it possible to enter meta characters in obj-browse like in a select query.

I am trying to achieve this query in Obj-Browse - select * from pr_operators where pyAccessgroup like '%XXX__:%'

below is the screenshot of the method

When i trace it, this what i get, there are slashes added before each underscore meta character.
