Performance wise , you should always go for Obj-Browse till the time you have a requirement which cannot be fulfilled by it like Complex queries or stored procedure.

I would suggest you to take the query and run the execution plan. Analyze whether proper indexes are created and utilized, no additional and unnecessary table scan etc...
