Is it possible to run the Pega 7.1 exercise VM on Oracle VMBox using host-only adapter?

Hi I'm trying to start the VM on my laptop without requiring a network cable or wifi access. Is this possible? I tried the Host-Only adapter but that does not work; the ubuntu terminal shows 'http://:9080'  

The installation manual states that "ThePegaAcademy VM is configured to use a Bridged Adapter for network access". Does that mean that using a network cable is required?

The OS of my laptop is Windows 10

No network or wifi access is needed. The attached screenshot was taken from my instance of Oracle VBox Pega 7.2 while offline (7.1 would pose no differences). Bridged Adapter is necessary for the localhost server to be accessed.
