Issue while editing Data Table with property configured with Autocomplete
Hi All,
We are on 7.1.6.We have a data table where one of the property is configured with a Auto Complete in the property rule form.When we want to add new instance to this data table the auto complete control configured on that property doesn't work .If we just preview the property the auto complete works perfectly.I know we have a similar issue with Dynamic Select https://pdn.pega.com/support-articles/error-when-editing-data-table-with-property-using-dynamic-select .Just wanted to confirm if this is an expected behavior or an issue.

Hi,
I had a quick try on my side and do have a similar problem with AutoComplete on Data Table. Having said that on new releases of the Product, it isn't recommended to use Data Table. Instead we are using Data Type (you having Data Type on Pega 7.1.6 as well), see my example below. AutoComplete is working fine on Data Type, have a try:

Hi Marc,
These are existing data tables created prior to 7.1.6 and delegated to business users,all we are trying to do is to provide a drop down or auto complete which is sourced from a data page for that property there by reducing the human errors.To work around i wrote and custom control to get the results from Data Page and then sourced it to Option Value HTML tags.
