Issue in Pega Print feature
I am using Pega 8.5 and have a requirement to print a screen having multiple sections with multiple embedded layouts.
The Pega OOTB Print action only prints the outer layout and completely ignores the embedded layouts/formats. If I go with converting the section to PDF also it seems that fields are stacked.
Is there way we can print with the formats/CSS as used in the sections?

We have confirmed that PDF generation using HTMLtoPDF still does not support Dynamic layout groups. This documentation may need to be updated since it gives the impression that dynamic layouts should work (documentation BUG-711532):

PD4ML is a third Party tool used for generating a PDF, there is an issue in that tool where it incorrectly interprets some media css. Skin CSS properties are not supported in PDF print.
Follow below option to get basic layout
Option 1: Maintain separate section for PDF print. open repeating grid cell - go to presentation tab - Cell inline style give some basic border based on your need (Example : border-width: thin; border: 1px solid #dddddd; text-align: center;)
Option 2: Need to do manual code for repeating grid - using pega for loop in section under HTML tab.
An enhancement request, FDBK-14345, has been created for consideration by Pega Product Management. It has not been triaged yet.

Dynamic layouts groups are DIV based structures and the structure or the layout is driven by skin only. PDF generation using HTMLtoPDF still does not support Dynamic layout groups. For PDF conversion dynamic layout groups are not supported because such dynamic layouts are handled by CSS which is not supported by the third party PD4ML library and is a known limitation. A browser can handle HTML layouts in a flexible way. A PDF is a static document with hard constraints on margins and layout. The only way to fix the issue is to modify and normalize the HTML so that it works within those constraints. So it is advised to use a free form layout as a workaround for HTMLtoPDF generation.

@MarijeSchillern Thanks for your update. But the question still remains on the OOTB print feature that why it doesn't consider the embedded layout structures in sections (using PrintReview harness and Pega OOTB Print action). Do we have any enhancement request or workaround for that?
