Issue with Custom Properties List in Report Browser

We are on 7.1.6 .We have a page list within work class which has around 60 properties and we store only 30 properties in the Declare Index table.So we customized the properties list as mentioned in the pdn article https://pdn.pega.com/reporting/customize-the-lists-of-properties-and-calculations-available-in-the-report-editor .and we have mentioned the work class for the "pyClassName" value in the "pyReportEditorProperties" data transform.
Issue :- User creates a new list report against the class,a pop-up window will all the properties defined in the data transform shows up as expected .When we drag an drop any of the pagelist properties we observe that it is getting the data from the Blob rather than from the Index table i.e it is not joining the Work table and Index table to get value from the exposed column.
Can some one suggest some work around for this issue .

In the class join on the main ruleform, you have given a prefix of TX. Please change that to the name of the association rule "DispositionInformation". Then configure the join condition in the popup and save the rule.

If you choose properties from an embedded property in a report editor and that property has a declare index defined, an automatic join will not happen between the two classes.
If you want to use joins in the report editor, you have to define a Rule-Obj-Association rule which defines the join between the two classes. Using that you can define get data from the index class rather than the BLOB of the main class.

Hi Rajiv,
We are 7.1.6.I am trying to create an association between the work class and the index class but the rule is not getting saved.I created the association rule with name "GetDIInfo" in the work class and in the rule form,i mentioned the class name for class association as that of the Index class.
In the class join section,i mentioned prefix "IX" class name as index class and in the join i used IX.pxinsindexedkey=GetDIInfo.pzInskey and when i try to save the rule it throws an error .Can you let me know if any thing is incorrect in the approach.
Also looks like the 7.1.6 help is not reflecting the association rule form in 7.1.6.
** A Class Join for the Class Name listed in the Class Association section is missing or invalid. Please enter a Class Join for this class whose Prefix has the same name as this Association."
