Issue with Citrix application automation
Hi All,
In my process requirement I need to open an windows application (DataScan), perform login and Click on a button which download a citrix ICA file, opening which it open windows server with welcome screen, Click on OK and it display another login screen for the Datascan application. After logging I need to complete the flow in that application. I am not sure how to work on this application with Pega. I read the document for Citrix context automation with Pega and found the way to access an application on citrix environment described is different as per my requirement. We are directly access the application which is available in citrix environment as compared to connecting to Citrix and accessing the application separately.
Could anyone suggest some solution to resolve this.

Using Citrix Contexts is the only way to work with Citrix applications. Your description does not sound different than the way it works.
- Runtime on the local machine starts.
- It then launches the Citrix connection and launches a published Runtime on the Citrix server.
- The Citrix Runtime loads the deployment package and tells the local Runtime that it is loaded.
Until you install and configure Runtime on the Citrix server, you will be accessing the application slightly different, but ultimately you'd be launching a new published application (Pega Robotics Runtime) that would start the application you are interested in.
