Invalid Date Format throws Pega exception error
Hi, I face the following error when I enter an an invalid date format eg. 01/ and on click of submit button, refreshes the section the receive PEGA error popup with the following error:
com.pega.pegarules.pub.clipboard.InvalidValueException

Hi @IrvinnLim: What is the type of property and control used? Ideally you should get a client side validation if your date format is not correct.
If you are using datetime property and date control in UI, can you share some additional details of the use case without confi data?

Hi @ArulDevan, property type and control used is date time. control config as follows: editable settings:
Date/Time = date Display mode: text input + calendar Allow text entry: Yes Use case is that user is able to select date either from calendar or input by typing. While typing invalid format, client side shows red message {} is not a valid date/time value. However, if user does not see the message and click save > action set on button will Refresh This Section and throw Pega popup error.

@IrvinnLim you mentioned If user enters invalid date client side shows error message. But this error is not getting displayed everytime at client side when invalid date is entered?
