@isBusinessDay throwing "Date Couldnot be parsed" error for European Users
Hi
Function @isBusinessDay(Param.CurrentMonthEndDate, Default) is throwing error ( attached ) for European Users only. Others in US, APAC are not seeing this issue. Value for Param.CurrentMonthEndDate is 12/31/2016.
Any help will be appreciated. This is happening in production only for European users. When we replicated the same in Dev ... we didnot see any issues.

Issue is with Users System date format ... Using Control Panel - > Region and Language -> Formats (tab) .. I changed the Format to English ( United States) ... it worked

CurrentMonthEndDate what it is returning ? If you just hardcode the entry like 31/12/2016 what is the outcome ?

I think its returning false in dev .. Actually its working fine in Dev and for users in other regions ... when traced the user session, we see the param.CurrentMonthEndDate value too ... and its getting passed to the function too where it throws this error ... as we see the date value in the error ....
the issue is only with users in Europe .. I need to ask them to test in our UAT region ... revalidate and save of the function will help??
I will check hardcoding 31/12/2016 on monday and respond ....

I think one of the reason could be the way the date is getting parsed. 12/31/2016 might be considered as dd/mm/yyyy and that could be the issue.
I am curious to understand how the CurrentMonthEndDate function is working here ?
Is it taking the values from DB ( where it stored in GMT format ) ?

You are right santanu ...
Asked the European user to test in Dev and had same issue. So I hard coded the date in DD/MM/YYYY format (Param.CurrentMonthEndDate = "31/01/2017" )... the function @isBusinessDay worked fine.
The function has below code thats returning null when date is passed as "MM/DD/YYYY" to the european users
objDate = dtu.parseDateTimeString(theDate);
Does this has something to do with their system date format?
Param.CurrentMonthEndDate is formed through a Java code
int lastDay = calendar.getActualMaximum(java.util.Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH);
int month = calendar.get(java.util.Calendar.MONTH) + 1;
int year = calendar.get(java.util.Calendar.YEAR);
