One of the requirements in my project is to connect to RabbitMQ for sending and receiving messages. As I understand there is no native support from Pega to integrate with RabbitMQ but JMS or Java client libraries that RMQ provides could to be used to integrate.
Since there are certain known limitations to use JMS with RMQ, we are planning on using Java client.
we need a program to keep pooling messages from the queue.
I need help/guidelines on how to set this up and running,
Thanks for your response. I am working on getting the JMS setup but since RMQ has certain limitations with JMS, I need a way to set up the integration with the java client for RMQ. Please let me know if you had experience setting the connection using a Java client. Thanks.

Thanks for your response! I have used JMS to integrate and it works but I want to get it working using the Java client since it has full support for amqp integration to RabbitMQ. Any inputs on it would be really useful.
We are also trying to do the same. I have setup the JNDI server and its connecting fine. However when we are trying to connect to the queue from JMS Listener, its timing out with socket closed exception. Could you help with the possible reason. And also could you tell me whats the difference between destinationName and AMPQQueue name. It would be very helpful if you could share your rabbit MQ configs too. So that I can map it to the attributes in <Resource name="jms/PegaQueue"> .
