Installation/Upgrade process from OpenSpan 7.1.63 to Pega Robotics 8.0.1025
Have a query regarding OpenSpan/Pega Robotics upgrade process. Would require to install Pega Robotics 8.0 Runtime on the end-user systems (in Production environment). Would like to know if we could install 8.0 Runtime (direct upgrade) on top of OpenSpan 7.1.63 Runtime version, or should we first uninstall OpenSpan Runtime 7.1.63 before installing 8.0 version. Please suggest.

The install instructions do not say that you need to remove the previous version before installing for Runtime. From my understanding it should work, but removing the old version and reinstalling fresh when moving to a new version can't be a bad idea.

Thanks, Jeff. Will try this. Just wanted to make sure, as there a lot number of systems that we need to upgrade for our end-users.
